Welcome to the Jule Hus, celebrating Christmas all year round since 1967!
The town of Solvang was built in 1911 by Danish immigrants in a charming old world style.
Jule Hus, (Danish for Christmas House) fills a special niche of providing Old European Christmas ornaments with an emphasis on Scandinavian customs. Here you'll find the entire store twinkling with tiny lights, offering an array of European blown glass ornaments. You'll also see the most extensive display of German wood Nutcrackers and Smokers this side of the Rhine River! Christian Steinbach, Christian Ulbricht, and E.M. Merck are among these collectibles. Other European collectibles include the beautiful Wendt & Kuhn angel and Santa Figures, pyramids that operate on candle power, and numerous carved figurines. The Jule Hus has one of the finest collections of Nativities from many countries. The Italian company of Fontanini, with its collection of over 100 figures, dozens of buildings and accessories to create a unique Bethlehem village, is well represented here at the Jule Hus.
Make the Jule Hus a family tradition. We are a family run business and would like to count you among our family! We are located on the main road leading into Solvang:
